Mustafa Kanju’s property confiscated: Court told
LAHORE (APP) – A local court was apprised on Monday that its orders regarding confiscation of Mustafa Kanju’s property had been complied with. Earlier, Tehsildar Lodhran appeared before the court on being summoned in an illegal weapons case against Kanju. The officer submitted an implementation report regarding the court orders for confiscation of Mustafa Kanju’s property and informed that all moveable and immovable property of the accused had been confiscated in compliance with the court orders. At this, Judicial Magistrate Akram Azad adjourned further hearing of the case for an indefinite period. South Cantonment police Lahore had registered a separate case of illegal weapons against Kanju after an unlicensed Kalashnikov was recovered from his custody when the police arrested him on charges of killing a young man Zain and injuring another. on the last hearing, the court had ordered to confiscate the property Mustafa Kanju after declaring him an absconder on his failure to appear before the court despite being repeatedly summoned.
